What is the difference between an original design and a print?

an original ketubah is an individual watercolor painting designed with each couple: I start with a blank piece of paper, do all the calligraphy by hand, draw the design and paint the ketubah with watercolors, use only real 23 ct. gold leaf or platinum for accents. it costs between $1800 and $4000. to order, please contact me directly and we can discuss the details.

A print is part of a limited edition of 90 or so that has been previously painted and lettered in calligraphy by me, scanned and printed on special watercolor paper. The design and text are set and preprinted. The couple's personal information is hand lettered into the text, and therefore it costs much less, about $375.
